Anastasia Beverley Hills – Modern Renaissance Review

I have wanted this Palette forever, I saw an eye look by Nikki Tutorials and fell in love. (isn’t she amazing!)

I finally got it for my Birthday – I didn’t actually ask for it but because I had talked about it that much my Sister in Laws brought it too shut me up.

There is a mix of Summer and Autumnal Colours – which I really love and makes it wearable all year round. You need to get your wear out of a Palette!

The colours are beautiful, really pigmented and light, the swatches are just one brushstroke of product. They are so easily blendable (don’t think that’s a word) and move around the eye with ease .

The colours are not too dissimilar from the KyShadow Burgundy Palette, which I also really like but the ease of blend is completely the opposite from the KyShadow.

I have reviewed here: Kyshadow – Burgundy Palette Review

I absolutely love burnt orange and golden shades together, and for me, Golden Ochre, Burnt Orange & Primavera are my go to shades for a golden eye.

I apply the Golden Ochre all over my lids, Burnt Orange in my eye crease and blended out and then Primavera in the centre, corner and under my lower eyelash line for a golden POP!

Tip: To make the Golden Shimmer of Primavera really stick out I apply a bit of concealer to the corner of my eye and then apply the Primavera over the top. It makes it look light, more shimmery and stays longer!

This is the end result:
